Visiting Guesline

Guesline was the little girl whose appendix burst back in September. Praise the Lord she is in our Kids Alive program at Anija or she would not be alive today. The medical clinic here in Jarabacoa would not treat her so her father brought her to Anija where one of our staff took her to the next closest town, La Vega. She went into surgery right away and has had a great recovery. She even stayed with an Anija teacher for a week to make sure she was living in a sanitary place. Anyways, this is a picture of Guesline and one of her new sponsors. It's days like these where I get to introduce a sponsor to their sponsored child that fills my heart with joy. It was so neat for the sponsor to meet her and her family and to see her house as well as the family meeting one of the people responsible for helping out their little girl.
